THE END OF THE CIRCLE.
I am not at all convince that Dr Chen Man Hing trusts Anwar Ibrahim as a good and loyal political ally to DAP. In fact, DAP efforts to manipulate Anwar Ibrahim to topple UMNO seemed fruitless. Dr. Chen Man Hing is too aware of Anwar's political animal side. Anwar is truly the Machiavillain Prince at heart. There is nothing to hold Anwar loose cannon attitude.
In fact Anwar is too dangerous to be trusted by DAP. Dr Chen Man Hing is haunted by the fact that when you make a pact with the devil you know what is coming to you in the end. Anwar is above the devil. Being a jesuit priest, Dr Chen Man Hing has long realized to sacrifice Anwar when the time comes but surely he is having nightmares with his eyes wide open.
No one in DAP is capable enough to replace his postiton in DAP. He is not looking for a Chinese Christian but he is looking for a Malay Christian that match Anwar's personality. It's too hard a task to find a needle in the haystack. So what is the best thing for DAP to do? What else except keep on harping on racial and religion issues.
