With their identities hidden for obvious reasons and their voices changed, one of the men, 47 year old Ramli Abdullah (not his real name) said he was introduced to Christianity in 2002 when living with some Australian missionaries, following which he was ultimately baptised.
Ramli claimed he belonged to a group comprising 400 other Muslims, but he wasn’t sure how many of them became apostates.
Following his conversion, Ramli said the missionaries helped fund his studies and got him a place to stay.
The woman’s testimony was not shown in this edited version of the 90-minutes video.
The exposè by former Selangor State EXCO Dr Hasan Ali, at his residence in Pinggiran Taman Tun Dr Ismail here this afternoon, was the result of six months of investigation, and was put forth to answer to the challenge by his detractors in Pakatan Rakyat that he was merely making up his claims.
